Portfolio concentration tool
ETF Overlap & Concentration Analyzer
Compare two published holding lists, identify duplicated exposure, and see which positions contribute most to the overlap.
Paste two holding lists
Use one holding per line in TICKER,WEIGHT format. Percent signs are optional. Values are normalized independently, so each list does not have to total exactly 100.
Check the result with a small fictional example
For basket A, enter AAA,50 then BBB,30 then CCC,20 on separate lines. For basket B, enter AAA,20 then BBB,30 then DDD,50. These are invented labels, not actual fund holdings. The shared symbols contribute their lower weight: 20 percentage points for AAA and 30 for BBB. The expected overlap is 50%.
Both lists total 100%. If you paste only a subset of a real fund, the tool rescales that subset to 100%, so the result describes only the pasted holdings. It is not a full fund overlap measurement. The tool also does not know the amounts you have invested in each fund.
